Why do we need an Orthodox School?
World pressures are increasing the educational demands our children face. There is a growing awareness that the public educational system is unable to keep pace with that demand. Furthermore there is a complete lack of moral and ethical foundation for what is taught.
Orthodox families need a strong traditional educational program that stresses our duties to God and our fellow man.

How will it be different?

The Union County Regional Orthodox School will fulfill this important mission by:

· Providing a strong Orthodox Christian education program assisted by local clergy and participation in liturgical services.

· Providing a strong liberal arts instruction emphasizing Language Arts, Traditional Mathematics, History (a comprehensive study of world, national, and local history), Rhetoric (the art of advancing and defending ideas and values), and Social Studies in an effort to foster an understanding and respect of the many cultures around us.

· Emphasis on cooperative learning.

· Freedom from Governmental interference that hampers other private and public schools.
